Hi Creative Soul!
How are you feeling? We have a habit of replying 'grand!' (here in Ireland anyway!!) without really stopping to think about it.
The truth is, many of us are feeling anxious, frustrated, isolated or low, or a whole myriad of other emotions as we meander our way through lockdowns. And that's okay. We're not here to gloss over that fact or bury our heads in the sand. Positive thinking alone won't cut it - bypassing emotions will only lead to trouble!
So, rather than papering over the cracks, I will guide you to explore your emotions in a very simple and playful way, and allow that energy to pass onto the page. We will release the heaviness and bring lightness, relaxation and self care to your day through self expression. Find freedom through your creativity, with zero pressure and zero judgement. Make a mess, get your hands dirty - we're here to play!
See you inside,
Emer x

MATERIALS
Below is a list of suggested materials - no stress if you don't have much, just work with what you have. While I'm happy to spend money on professional art materials for my 'finished' work, when it comes to these playful wellness exercises I keep it cheap and cheerful - or free :) Raid your children's craft stash, just don't tell them I told you to!
Each day bring a candle as an intentional anchor, and your journal and pen for some reflection afterwards.
